Authentic Intelligence & Stewardship ·
Artificial Intelligence Is Fire
Fire can heat a home or consume a forest. The element is neutral. The steward decides.

Fire is not good and fire is not evil. It is an element. Held in the hearth, it heats homes and cooks food. Loose in a drought, it consumes acres of forest and everything built near it. The same fire. The difference is stewardship.
Artificial intelligence is the newest element humanity has been handed. It can build and it can burn. It will heat a thousand homes or level them, and the element itself will not choose. The onus is on our shoulders to be good stewards of the power it endows us with.
But stewardship is not a vibe. It requires an operator. Before the element is wielded, someone has to sit at the command center.
This is the seat I call Authentic Intelligence. It is your uniqueness: the genetic makeup you were gifted, the gifts and talents that only you can bring into this world. The genius within you resides in your authenticity.
That is why cultivating authenticity is critical work, not a soft pursuit. Get clear on who you are. Clarity around vision, mission, and values. Be very deliberate in the constructing of who you are, and operate from a space of harnessing your talents.
An element in undisciplined hands is a wildfire. An element in the hands of someone who knows exactly who they are is heat, light, and food for the whole village. Same power. Different practitioner.
Artificial intelligence will amplify whatever holds it. If the operator is hollow, it amplifies the hollow. If the operator is authentic, it amplifies genius that could only have come from them.
So the work is not to fear the fire and it is not to worship it. The work is to become the kind of person who can be trusted with it.
Fire does not decide what it burns. The practitioner does. Be decisive.
