What I've Learned

The biggest story of the year isn't the windfalls. It's the machinery you learn to construct that can produce them.

The biggest story of 2026 isn't necessarily the windfalls. It's the machinery you're learning to construct that can produce them. The windfalls would be wonderful. The machinery is what makes them repeatable.

Any single check can eventually be spent. Capability remains. Process remains. Relationships remain. IP remains. Contractual rights remain. Knowledge remains. And those things can produce the next check.

The breakthrough isn't only the opportunity. It's becoming someone who knows how to create the conditions for another one.

The learnings compound the same way. You learn to originate financing relationships and contractually participate in the economics. You learn that institutional visibility should convert into relationships and revenue. You practice stewardship before the liquidity arrives. And you separate your personal creative identity from the machinery that finances the freedom to pursue it.

So the machinery isn't the destination. The machinery finances the destination.

The game is to become increasingly skilled at creating, owning, and allocating assets and systems that produce value without requiring an equivalent unit of your labor every time. That's a very different game. And that's Fancyfied-Certified!
